Save Judge Hear
Save me is one prayer God will always hear and answer from anyone for salvation. We can also cry to God to save us from situations, circumstances and people we find ourselves in. Sometimes we create bad situations because of wrong decisions and at times because of others decisions. In each of them we can still cry out to God to save us. Judge me, we ask God to look at me and make His judgement whether I am right or wrong. Judging is not just condemning it’s also to determine right or wrong. We have a promise that God will hear our prayers. But remember two important things; we will not always be given what we ask because God knows it’s not good for us at the time; second is if I allow sin (in Gods’ view not my opinion) He will not hear my prayer. Ps 66:18. That is anything not pleasing to God attitudes or actions. God is our helper, what a thought the awesome creator of the universe cares and will help me personally, I am important to Him. The Psalmist response should be ours also . I will freely sacrifice unto the Lord. Two words to note; freely is not required, but done willingly. Sacrifice cost you something. Then we praise Him for His goodness, kindness, love and holiness. Because He has delivered us/me from troubles and greatest of all from the penalty of sin an eternity in Hell. He suffered and died for me because of His love. The question for us is will I live my life for Him.
Psalm 54 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength. 2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. 3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. 4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. 5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. 6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. 7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
