The love of God is greater far

  1. The love of God is greater far Than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes beyond the highest star And reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled And pardoned from his sin.
  • O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure The saints’ and angels’ song.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21

14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The simple message of salvation:

God loves all—For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

All have sinned—For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

All are condemned—For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

All can be saved—For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Romans 10:13

The only thing that stands between anyone and the forgiveness of God, is man’s acceptance of God’s gift.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

2 Cor 6:2 Behold now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation”

Hebrews 3:7 Therefore as the Holy Spirit says, today if you will hear His voice do not harden your heart.

We each must choose who we will love and serve.

The Christian Life

Living the Christian Life

  1. 1.       A time of worship –we quietly bow before Him in solemn prayer, reminding ourselves of His character: holiness, all knowing, presence everywhere, almighty power, love and mercy.
  2. 2.       A time of praise-singing, shouting and dancing with joyful praise to Him because of who He is and what He’s done for us.
  3. 3.       A time of reading, studying and meditating on His Word as it is written and believing and obeying it.
  4. 4.       A time of helping meet the physical and emotional needs of others.
  5. 5.       A time of helping meet the spiritual needs of others;

       Evangelism,  that is getting the gospel message that’s for all to all.

       Helping other to grow in their relationship to Christ, by spending time

      studying the Bible.
